這時發生了戲劇性的發展，由於國王們正確的決定，Algalord、Irengard、Elgard和Ancelot四個王國的領導者達成了共識，在Harold的領導下聯合了起來。這意味著勝利，意味著凱旋的光終能戰勝來自黑暗深淵的力量。
在那之後，過了一段和平且繁榮的時光。然而，再過不久，又有另一個更可怕的夢魘降臨，Algalord受到了另一股力量威脅。北方蠻人的血正在竄動，等待著撕裂這片和平。
此時，僅存的希望只有用三把智慧之鑰打開 象牙門。那個預言是這麼說的：只有冰的勇士以其純粹的心打開位於混亂之地(Land of chaos)的一道門，並打倒在那裡的遠古遺留下的守門人，才能使用力量最強大的劍，以及領導勇士們拯救Enchanted Lands....
已經有許多的勇士試著要找到傳說中的象牙門(ivory gates)，但是他們都有去而無歸，沒人知道他們到底遇上了什麼。現在論到你了，勇敢的戰士。記住，如果要找到傳說中的三把鑰匙，你必須面對你的罪惡。所以，向寒冬祈禱，祈禱祂冰凍你底心的黑暗面，以讓你的心如冰一般純淨，否則你終將如同那些失蹤者，而無法找到翡翠神劍。
去吧！前往平原中央的路途是如此遙遠，然而時間已經緊迫。所以，不要猶豫，立刻出發，為了愛與和平的勝利而戰鬥。
一股虎視耽耽的勢力，正逐漸地在Darkland為了征服Algalord及其四周的諸國而集結。這次戰爭的威脅，比起過去是有過之而無不及，但是受到威脅的地方，愈來愈多的人已經決定要獻出他們的生命，以來阻止這群由殘酷暴君Akron領軍、來自地獄的瘋狂征服者。
這支地獄之軍以兩個策略來進行侵略：一個是由黑暗王子所主導，他們已經成功越過了中央的山峰，讓Ancelot的居民死傷慘重；另一個則正在穿越混沌之地，幸運地他們仍然距離中央平原上那些村落有段距離。
此時，在Algalord的「諸王會議」已經決定了對付這場惡戰的策略…
Algalord的Harold III、Elgard的Argon和Elnor的Eric等三位君主，決定要為了阻止黑暗之王的侵襲而再次組成Enchanted Lands同盟，就如同他們的上一代所做的一樣。
另外，在這場會議中，還下了一個決定：無論如何都要尋找到傳說中的翡翠神劍。在「聖賢萬言書」中，清楚記載著：「當一個勇敢的戰士找到了三把智慧之鑰，並且打開了位於混沌之地某處的象牙之門，才有可能找到藏著翡翠神劍的『神國』」。雖然過去那些勇敢的冒險者們，全都一去無回。但現在事態已經嚴重，於是這場會議裡決定了要再試一遍。但是，誰能達成如此艱難的任務？
智者Harold認為這是一個簡單的問題：具有北方血統的戰士是Enchanted Lands上最具勇氣的戰士，只要讓他們去找，一定可以達成這個不可能的任務。
一個報信者將如此的信息帶到了遙遠的Loregard：「由Irengard的君王挑選出來的冰之勇士啊！你必須馬上接受這個徵召，尋找傳說中的翡翠神劍，還有帶領一批Irengard的軍隊加入Algalord的聯盟。」
現在，傳說正式展開了……

Enchanted Lands上的所有軍隊正快速地結集，每個城鎮都分派了一些兵力到Algalord去。此際，帶著戰爭的氣習，受遴選者到達了Irengard。在那裡，他收到了老國王的信息，要他準備加入軍隊中，為Enchanted Lands效勞。
之後，在Algalord的山丘之上，出現了難得一見的景象……神聖同盟再度集結，組成了Enchanted Lands前所未有的強大軍容，並傲慢地等待著他們各自的君王對他們下命令……。

精靈們跳著古老的舞蹈歡迎這群將士的來到，好讓散布於空氣中的不安氣氛能夠得到一定程度的紓解。
然而，那位冰之勇士並不因為這幅美景而感到鬆懈；相反的，他正處在一種躁鬱的狂喜之中。那個在許多他小時候聽到的故事中所記載，過去它的曾祖父曾經追隨著先王的軍隊，為了打倒侵略Enchanted Land的黑暗之王軍隊而赴湯蹈火的地方－－獨角獸森林(forest of unicorns)就在不遠處。這是唯一可以一探其究竟的機會，這個願望早就深植在他的心中。於是，他決定去滿足自己長久以來的夢想。因此，他隻身離開了山谷，前往在這冗長山谷的盡頭那座森林。
景色是一片黑暗，氣氛是一片陰森。但是就在一瞬間，神聖之河的流水召告了那片魔法森林的距離已經不遠，而那位戰士的心臟也隨之愈跳愈快……

當戰士佇立在森林的入口，他心中的感覺是無法言表的。當傍晚的風帶來了意味深長的言語時，一道莫名的光線，讓森林的景色得以盡入眼簾，頓時，一切變得詭異卻又令人心寧。在這莫名的光線中，戰士決定要在此地渡過一夜，坐臥在巨木底下，很快地他就進入了夢境……
……在黎明來臨之前，他夢見了祖先遭遇敵人的場景；在黎明來臨之時，他被一陣巨大的聲音給驚醒。此時，映入眼廉的是一陣強烈的光輝；在那裡面，白色的獨角獸出現了！這個難得一見的景象，讓戰士看得是目不轉睛。
當他還浸淫在這早晨第一道光輝的美景，他開始向著森林裡的樹木祈禱，而這群樹木也似乎聽到了他的祈禱，並且啟示了他一些事情，關於過去的記憶、祖先的凱旋。
為了保護這片大地，數不清的烈士們，灑下了他們的血，也使得這片大地獲得了一段長久的和平。
但是，這一次的入侵力量更勝於往，而眼前的和平將被斬斷。
要人棄此美景而去何其困難？但是現在日已高昇、眾將已甦醒，前往Ancelot的軍隊必須動身了……
